Deshabhimani gets way too abhimani after plagiarising a picture
In an interesting twist, not only did Deshabhimani, a leading Malayalam language daily, publish a picture from the blog post of Cranium Bolts, they also seem to think that it’s their LEGAL right to do so! Read the account of Cranium Bolts for more. Such cases should be definitely taught a legal lesson by suing them in court.

crazy sugunan is trying to sell his son and relatives for money. begging is better than this.
babu – can you not understand what this post is about? or are you totally unaware of copyright laws in India and are one of those who just can not get yourself to follow “laws”?
This issue has nothing to do with “selling” an image, it has to do with COPYRIGHT LAWS. Now that the crime has been done, the only thing that can be achieved is compensation. Since you highlight the fact of his son’s image being used, I must say, thanks for highlighting and even MORE important issue. This is an even bigger crime than just an image being stolen. Anyone who uses an image that has someone’s face in it, needs a model release before using it commercially. So I must add, that Sugunan should demand an even HIGHER fees BECAUSE it’s his son’s image. You came here to show your holier than thou attitude, but are instead helping Sugunan. That’s so nice of you.
Hope next time, you’ll get your facts straight before putting up any comments anywhere.
